Our team is made up of 1 fulltime staff member, a board of 5 members, and numerous amazing volunteers of all ages.
Our history
The West Durant Merchants Association is an organization designed to bring together businesses in West Durant. We formed with the desire to create a voice for unrepresented merchants in our community during the University Blvd. expansion project.
We ADVOCATE for our group through community conversations with local leaders.
We EMPOWER local businesses by educating them regarding city and state projects and programs.
We PROMOTE our members by featuring them in our community through events such as “A Westside Christmas” and “ A Westside Drive-In”, while also building a social media campaign called “Merchant Mondays”.
WDMA is a 501c6 non-profit business league. As our group grows, we are accomplishing a great deal in our community!
